Thanks to the many people who have contributed so far to the PKM Book project, which will result in a freely available e-book on the subject of personal knowledge management. I am using a WordPress plug-in called Anthologize to develop the e-book. Anthologize lets me take posts and turn them into a book. It is much more than a mere blog to book conversion engine though.

First of all, it allows me to take selected blog posts (1) and arrange them in chapters and sections (2). I can then edit the Anthologize version (3) without changing the original post.The book can be exported to PDF, RTF, ePub, HTML or Anthologize’s own format.

With Anthologize I should make faster progress and you may see more draft PKM posts here as I add sections. Thanks again to everyone who has decided to come along for the ride!

The next PKM Online Workshop starts the first week of September so tell your friends and colleagues. All sessions this year (the first year it has been offered) have had very favourable reviews from participants. We keep working to improve our workshops and the e-book should be a welcome addition.
