I totally agree. Even the visual picture makes sense.

So I guess according to that definition a LMS could be used to plan,organize,lead,control and ensure quality of learning.

For example planning could be determining what to learn, when or even things such as learning objectives.

With this definition of &quot;manage&quot; a LMS can play a role in learning. 

The brain probably plays a bigger role.
