Time management issues aside, too many classroom teachers use homework as either busy work or in support of a &quot;that&#039;s the way I learned it&quot; philosophy. On the other hand, many parents with traditional learning philosophies are stunned (and may even complain) if the teacher doesn&#039;t use a traditional homework model.

Harold - The last paragraph is a powerful one for all of us to ponder.
